Terms of Service - Payxem
Last updated: 24 April 2026
1. Overview
Payxem is the Digitalancers Platform, a technology platform that gives freelancers, consultants, and small businesses three connected products: Payments (invoices, pay links, and a ledger wallet at app.payxem.com), a Digital Business Card (at pxem.link/@username), and a Portfolio page (at {username}.payxem.com).
Payxem is operated by LINC GLOBAL HUB INC., a Delaware, USA registered company, with support from affiliated partners across different regions.
Payxem is not a bank, financial institution, or licensed payment processor.
By accessing or using Payxem, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Nature of Service
Payxem provides tools for:
- Creating and sending invoices
- Generating payment links
- Tracking payment status and transaction records
- Viewing balances through a ledger-based system
- Submitting withdrawal or payout requests
- Publishing a Digital Business Card at pxem.link/@username
- Publishing a Portfolio page at {username}.payxem.com
Payxem operates as a technology platform.
All payments are processed by third-party providers such as PayPal, Stripe, or other supported channels. Payxem does not process payments directly.
Payxem does not operate as a bank, custodial wallet, escrow service, or money transmission provider.
3. User Responsibilities
By using Payxem, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
You are solely responsible for:
- The services or products you offer
- Agreements and communication with your clients
- Delivery, quality, and fulfillment of your work
- Handling disputes, refunds, and claims
4. Payments and Fees
Payxem charges a platform service fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per successful payment.
Additional fees may apply from third-party providers such as PayPal or Stripe, based on their own policies.
Exchange rates, bank charges, or other external fees may also apply.
Users may choose to pass certain fees to clients where supported.
All fees are subject to change. Any updates will be reflected on the Payxem website and communicated where applicable.
5. Ledger and Balance Display
The “wallet”, “available balance”, and “pending balance” shown in Payxem represent internal ledger records.
These balances:
- Reflect transaction tracking based on confirmed payments
- Are system-calculated estimates after fees and adjustments
- Do not represent funds held in a bank account
- Are not safeguarded or insured balances
Actual funds are processed and held by third-party providers until settlement.
6. Payouts and Withdrawals
Withdrawal requests submitted through Payxem are requests for settlement and distribution of funds.
All payout requests:
- Are subject to review and approval
- May require identity verification or additional information
- May be processed manually or through integrated channels
Payxem may approve, delay, or reject withdrawal requests based on risk, compliance, or operational requirements.
Payxem does not charge fees for withdrawals. However, external fees such as bank transfer or currency conversion charges may apply.
Users are responsible for providing accurate payout details. Payxem is not liable for losses due to incorrect information.
7. Holding Period and Risk Control
To maintain security and comply with third-party requirements:
- Payments are subject to a security clearance period of up to 7 business days
- Business days exclude weekends and public holidays
- Funds remain in a pending state until cleared
This process helps manage fraud risk, chargebacks, and operational compliance.
8. Disputes and Chargebacks
Payxem does not mediate disputes between users and their clients.
All disputes must be handled directly with the client or through the relevant payment processor.
In case of disputes, chargebacks, or refunds:
- Payxem may adjust the user’s ledger balance
- Deduct amounts from available or future balances
- Temporarily restrict withdrawals
If funds have already been withdrawn, the user remains fully liable for the amount.
Payxem reserves the right to recover such amounts from future earnings or take further action where necessary.
9. Public Pages, User Content, and Usernames
Your Digital Business Card (pxem.link/@username), Portfolio ({username}.payxem.com), and pay link pages are public surfaces. You are solely responsible for the content you publish on them, including text, images, testimonials, service descriptions, FAQ, and any files uploaded (for example, hero or gallery images).
You grant Payxem a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, display, and distribute the content you publish, only to the extent required to operate the platform and deliver the public pages to visitors. You retain ownership of your content.
Username and subdomain policy:
- Each user account has a single username that powers all three surfaces (pxem.link/@username, app.payxem.com/p/{username}, and {username}.payxem.com).
- Username changes are capped at two lifetime renames per user (measured from the first rename). This cap exists to prevent brand hijacking and link rot. The global cap and per-user override may be adjusted by Payxem.
- When a username is released, the old slug is reserved for 60 days to prevent squatting and confusion.
- Certain words are reserved and cannot be used as a username, including infrastructure terms, payment-platform names, regulated brands, government names, phishing-style terms, and words Payxem holds for internal or moderation use. The reserved list may be updated at any time.
- Payxem may force-rename any username that violates these Terms, infringes a trademark, impersonates another person or entity, or is used in bad faith. Forced renames do not count toward your two-rename cap.
You may not:
- Impersonate another person, brand, or organization on any Payxem-hosted page.
- Publish content that infringes trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights.
- Use your public pages to host adult content, illegal content, malware, or phishing material.
- Use a reserved, brand-protected, or high-risk slug without written authorization from Payxem.
- Abuse the quote-request or contact flows on Portfolio and Card pages to send spam, scams, or unsolicited marketing.
Payxem may remove content, unpublish pages, reassign slugs, or suspend accounts that violate this section. See also the Acceptable Use Policy.
10. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use Payxem for:
- Fraudulent or deceptive activities
- Illegal goods or services
- Money laundering or misuse of financial systems
- Identity misuse or misrepresentation
Accounts may be restricted or terminated if such activities are detected.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
Payxem may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts if:
- These Terms are violated
- Suspicious or high-risk activity is detected

Users may stop using Payxem at any time.
